We provide Forklift Truck Medicals onsite or at our Highbridge based clinic.
Before driving a forklift truck, it is advisable to have a medical to identify any potential health issues, but it is not a legal requirement.
You will require a UK driving licence if you are driving on a public road.
The Forklift Truck Medical consists of completion of a screening questionnaire to exclude significant medical history including:
- Diabetes
- Obstructive sleep apnoea
- Cardiovascular disease
- Epilepsy and other significant conditions
The examination includes:
- Height/Weight, BMI
- Blood pressure
- Urine tests
- Hearing test
- Vision test
- Mobility test
